- Ensure the person understands and believes each element.
- Have them repeat back in their own words to confirm comprehension before closing with “Amen.”

- Question: “Do you believe Jesus died for your sins and rose again to give you new life?”
- Clarify: Jesus’ resurrection is the power by which sin is defeated and new life is given.
